Skilled Nursing
Skilled Nursing Care and services are designated for each individual resident who need 24-hour nursing care. At Fillmore
Convalescent Center our residents are treated according to an individually developed care plan tailored to meet all of their specific needs. The skilled nursing plans of care outline the specific treatment and services that the resident will receive and is created based on assessments completed during the admission process. In addition, staff monitors each skilled nursing resident's condition and progress throughout the stay and makes adjustments to the care plan that reflect any change in status or patient needs.
Fillmore Convalescent Center offers many amenities, activities and social events, which we have found contribute positively to our resident's recovery. Therapeutic activities, including pet therapy and gardening, are designed for varying skill levels. These programs are offered regularly by the Activities Department.
Family members are considered an important part of the resident's recovery and are encouraged to visit frequently.
Physical and Occupational therapy, as well as Speech language Pathology, are provided through licensed therapist. Care and services are provided by a highly skilled interdisciplinary team of professionals, who receive medical direction from qualified physicians.
