Services

Fillmore Convalescent Center has an excellent reputation, not just in the City of Fillmore but all of Ventura County, as a facility that provides excellent care to its residents.

Since October 2000, Fillmore Convalescent Center has offered a "secured unit” where the residents are able to enjoy specialized activities, and an outside patio area that is secured for their safety, with plants, bird-baths and chairs, where each resident is encouraged to participate in activities, exercise and walking. Presently, there is only one (1) other facility in the county that provides a secure unit for residents.

Fillmore Convalescent Center is recognized throughout Ventura County for its quality clinical practices, positive resident outcomes and innovative programs. Our facility offers a broad range of programs and services to meet the diverse needs of our community, including Orange Blossom Villa, a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly which provides independent and assisted living levels of care, located within our same campus.

Our Staff:

The success for 25 years of service of Fillmore Convalescent Center, is our staff. The longevity of many employees prove the quality of our services. We have employees with 20 and 25 years of service. Due to our continuing education program, several of our employees began as nurse assistants, housekeepers or dietary aids and today have become Vocational (LVN) or Registered Nurses (RN), some with administrative responsibilities.

Our employees in every department; dietary, licensed nurses, housekeeping, laundry, nursing assistants, medical records, activities, social services, admissions, maintenance, business office and administration take pride in making our Mission Statement a reality for each resident.
